Postdoctoral Researchers

We currently do not have an opening for a regular postdoc position.

We invite exceptional candidates to apply for the 51 Pegasi b Fellowship (open annually in the summer). If you are interested in being hosted at the University of Minnesota, please contact Ali Sulaiman with your CV and a description of your proposal.

Graduate Students

Prospective graduate students should apply to the University of Minnesota's Physics or Astrophysics graduate programs. Admitted graduate students can directly email Ali Sulaiman to set up a meeting. Interested graduate students are encouraged to attend group meetings and meet with current group members.

Undergraduate Students

Openings are intermittent for current students at the University of Minnesota. If you are interested in research opportunities, you can email Ali Sulaiman with your transcript, CV, and paragraph describing your interest in the group. Students interested in applying for the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program should note the upcoming deadline.

There are 2-3 openings annually for transfer students from community colleges. Research activities take place during the summer before enrollment in the fall semester at UMN.
